Obituary of Charles C. Curtis
Charles C. "Chuck" Curtis, 82, of Jamestown died Wednesday December 20, 2023, in UPMC Hamot.
He was born June 19, 1941, in Erie, a son of the late Clarence and Laura Raun Curtis.
Prior to his retirement he was employed by VacAir Alloys as a shear operator.
He was a member of Murray Hose Company #2, Dunkirk.
Chuck will be remembered as a kind and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. His grandchildren and great grandchildren were the apples of his eye.
Surviving is his wife Ann Marie Crise Curtis, whom he married March 30, 1973; three children Charles L. Curtis of Girard, PA, Christine (Michael) Holdridge of Jamestown and James (Traci) Curtis of Frewsburg; five grandchildren Tori (Travis) Jordan of Falconer, Brandon (Corinne) Curtis of Angola, Ryan Holdridge and Alyssa Holdridge both of Jamestown and Ashley Curtis of Frewsburg; two great grandchildren Laci and Jonah Jordan of Falconer; a sister Linda (Jerry) Rafan of Dunkirk and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by siblings Ronnie Pal, Marilyn Erick, Barbara Dudek, Jack Curtis and Paul Curtis.
The funeral will be held at 11 am Friday in the Lind Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Thursday in the funeral home.
