Obituary of Howard Moore

Howard Moore, 71, of Jamestown, passed away Saturday December 30, 2023, unexpectedly. He was born February 9, 1952, in Jamestown, NY, the son of the late Kenneth Moore and Gloria Housler Moore. Howard was a 1971 graduate of Jamestown High School. After retirement he was employed at Holiday Harbor Marina. He was a member and Trustee at The Fraternal Order of Eagles Post 2145, Jamestown NY, and a member of the Chautauqua Lake Fishing Association. Howard was an avid fisherman who loved fishing year-round and being on his Pontoon boat with his wife. He was also an overall sport enthusiast who enjoyed golfing and watching the Buffalo Bills. Howard was looking forward to teaching his great nephew all his fishing tricks. Surviving is his wife of 28 years Kristine Lamb Moore, whom he married July 15, 1995; his two sons: Jason (Steve Werner) Moore of Tampa, FL, Darren (Karissa) Moore of Ft. Myers Fl; grandson Dylan Gene Moore of Ft. Myers Fl; sister Maxine Smith; step brother Robert Moore; nieces and nephews: Donald (Brittany) Abramson of Gerry, Megan Ludwiczak of Jamestown, Brooke (Greg) Mareri of Jamestown, Corin and Abbie Derby of Jamestown; great nephews: Jameson and Sullivan Abramson of Gerry. Also Fishing Buddies and good friends Dan and Bubba Gorman. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his grandson Camden Louis Moore in May 2022. No services will be observed at this time.
