My late husband, George Lewis, M.D, we very fond of Carol, working in the ER at JGH and later at WCA. I was working in the ER at WCA when she came there and it was the beginning of a warm friendship. Happy memories and condolences to all who miss her.

My condolences to JoAnn and all of Carol’s family. She was my father’s (Lew Felleisen) cousin. Carol was a genuinely caring person whose kindness touched so many.

I first met Carol when I started working at the Jamestown General Hospital back in the 80's and later after we both transitioned to the WCA. Carol was the kind of nurse that we all aspired to be.....knowledgeable, kind and compassionate patient care all blended with a great sense of humor. Since her retirement my connection with her was mostly at Peterson Farm when we would always catch up and share a laugh. I can honestly say that Carol made a positive impact on me.....professionally and personally. I know she will be greatly missed and my condolences go out to JoAnn and the rest of her family.

My deepest sympathy to JoAnn and the rest of Carol's family. Working at JGH for almost 10 years, I was always impressed by Carol's professionalism and compassionate nature while still being able to maintain a sense of humor. I always thought that if I ever suffered a medical emergency, I would hope to see Carol and JoAnn coming to save me. May she rest in peace.

I worked at Jamestown General Hospital for approximately 9 years with both Carol and JoAnn. If you looked up the word “Nurse” in the dictionary you would see a picture of Carol.. She loved her profession, her co workers and her patients, and they loved her. She had a great work ethic arriving at work early and leaving only when her work was done. I also remember her athleticism. She was always moving and good at whatever sport she participated in. I can still hear her laughter and see her smile. She will be missed.

I worked at JGH with Carol (and JoAnn). Carol was a cousin from the Weborg side of the family (my grandmother was Della Weborg Tordoff), so every time we saw each other at the hospital, we'd say "Hi, Cousin!". She was an exceptional nurse and I have thought about her often. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to all her family.

My prayers and condolences are with you all, JoAnn and family members. . I will never forget the memories of my time spent with Carol and family at the lake. Fishing, boating and impressive 4th of July parties, I still think of them often. Carol was an extraordinary, loving and caring person. She will be missed.

Dear JoAnn and family of Carol - my sincerest condolences for your loss. Carol was such a positive influence in my, and my family’s, lives. I will forever remember her in her full white nurse’s uniform, and how proudly she wore it. She was an extraordinary human. It was my privilege to consider her a friend. With much affection, Kathy Andrews
