Obituary of Norman F. Case

Norman F. Case, 86, of Bear Lake, passed away Wednesday January 31, 2024, at Warren Manor. He was born May 16, 1937, in Jamestown, NY, the son of the late Theodore N. and Bertha Covey Case. Norm was a 1956 graduate of Panama High School. Following high school he joined the US Army in 1956. During his service, he was stationed in Korea, Italy, and the US as Corporal in the criminal investigation division until he was honorably discharged in 1962. Before his retirement he worked at Chase Interiors, Falconer NY and most notably All Metal Specialties Jamestown for several years. Norm had a passion for music from the age of 17 and played in several bands throughout the years. He also enjoyed varmint hunting, reading about history, doing puzzles with wife, Fencing, Motocross racing, Sail boating, built Chevy engines and raced cars. Surviving is his wife Erma Wachob Case whom he married the love of his life on June 21, 1986; his two children Valerie Lynn Case, David Fenton Case; stepchildren: Teresa (Rick) Johnson, Ashville NY, Lorissa (Skip) Terrill, Union City PA, Michael (Lisa) Case, Panama NY; his sister Jackie Baker of Alabama and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings Larry Case, Jeanne Wells, and Patrick Case. In keeping with Norman's wishes, no funeral service or visitation will be observed. Donations may be made to Paws Along the River Humane Society, 212 Elm St, Warren, PA 16365, in memory of his constant companion, Peachy.
