Obituary of Anna M. Hosier

Anna M. Hosier, 86, of Lakewood, passed away Saturday February 3, 2024, at Absolut Care of Westfield. She was born August 27, 1937, in Newfane Intercommunity Hospital, the daughter of the late Bert and Alice Shore Walker. She was employed by Matco Tool in the factory for 17 years and went on to work another 11 years for Boces in Ashville. Anna enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casino with her husband. She loved her grandchildren. Surviving are two sons Philip Bowman of Union City, PA, and Ed Bowman of Ashville; a stepson Dennis Dowd of Jamestown; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Hosier who died October 6, 2005; three brothers: Bert Walker, Don Walker, Richard Walker; a sister Dorothy Weir; a half-brother Walter and stepson Robert Dowd. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday February 10, in the Lind Funeral Home.
