Obituary of James M. Frew
James M. Frew, 74, of 27 Pullman Street, died Monday January 29, 2024, in UPMC Hamot.
He was born May 5, 1949, in Jamestown, a son of Marvin and Betty Jacobs Frew.
Prior to his retirement he was employed by Sysco as a warehouse worker.
Surviving are three brothers, Michael (Carol) Frew of Frewsburg, David (Nancy) Frew of Apollo, PA and Jeffrey (Janet) Frew of Sand Point, ID and several nieces and nephews. His great niece, Summer, was a very special young lady and James attended all her events throughout her life.
Forty years ago, James came into the lives of the Kell family and became a stepfather to Daniel Kell, David (Amy) Kell, Kathy (Joe) Constantino and Louis (Darcy) Kell. He had several grandchildren and great grandchildren with whom he shared a special relationship. Jim was a very kind, compassionate, and caring man. The family feels lucky to have him as part of their lives.
A Celebration of Life will be held June 29, 2024 at Town Park, Frewsburg
