Obituary of Tammie Tatchell

Tammie Tatchell, 57, of Jamestown passed away peacefully Wednesday February 21, 2024, in her home. She was born December 11, 1966, the daughter of Beverly (Tatchell) Mitchell. Tammie was a graduate of R.R Rodgers School in Jamestown. She was always a fun and positive person to be around. She had a way of making the people around her smile with her silly personality. Tammie enjoyed doing puzzles and crosswords, playing UNO, and loved to write. In her younger years she won many awards for the long jump at the Special Olympics. Besides her mother Beverly, she is survived by three sisters: Karen Hitchcock, Angela (David) Adams, Carmen (Pedro) Melendez; a brother John (Sarah) Tatchell; nephew Zach (Amanda) Tatchell and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father and grandparents. The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in the Lind Funeral Home.
