Obituary of Craig A. Boehler

Craig A. Boehler, 63, of Lakewood, NY, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2024 at the Erie County Medical Center. A Jamestown native, he was born Nov. 17, 1960, the son of the late Charles and Bernice Clark Boehner. Formerly a truck driver for many years, Craig began with the family trucking business and then drove for several area trucking firms. For 20 years, he has now been a rural carrier for the Jamestown Post Office. In his early years, Craig enjoyed motocross racing which he began at a young age. He has continued his two-wheel riding by mountain biking and riding with Hollyloft groups. Craig has also enjoyed antiquing, both buying and selling. He is survived by his wife, Shirley A. Johnson whom he married January 20, 2008; sister, Denise (Michael) Cleveland of Jamestown; stepson, Nicholas (fiancé Kaylie) Mest of Batavia, NY; nephew, Nicholas (Sarah) Hatch of Easley, SC; and two great-nieces, Clara and Stella Hatch. Following Craig's wishes, no service or visitation will be observed.
