Obituary of Carlos DeJesus-Godineaux

Carlos DeJesus-Godineaux, 26, of Akron, Ohio, died Monday, Feb. 19, 2024 in Ohio. He was born in Akron Aug. 25th, 1997, the son of Juan C. DeJesus and Omara Godineaux, and was a 2015 graduate of Jamestown High School. Carlos had more recently returned to Akron where he worked in shoe sales. He enjoyed cars, music, golf and especially family. In addition to his mother of Jamestown and father of Akron, surviving is his daughter, Nayeli Godineaux; stepson, Xavier; his companion, Celina Serva; brothers, Joshua and Johnathan; sister, Shamara; as well as several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 28th in the Lind Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday immediately following visitation. Pastor Alfonso Pagan will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
