Obituary of Charles D. Clark Jr.

Charles D. Clark, Jr., 72, of 42 Allendale Avenue, died Saturday April 13, 2024, in UPMC Chautauqua. A lifelong Jamestown resident, he was born October 17, 1951, a son of the late Charles and Delores Coan Clark. He attended Jamestown Schools and was a Vietnam War veteran of the US Army. Prior to his retirement he was employed by Valeo as a factory worker. He was a member of Celoron Moose Lodge, Chautauqua County Fishing Association, War Vets Recreation, Herman Kent Post 777 American Legion, Viking, Lakewood Rod and Gun Club and a lifetime member of Veterans of Foreign Wars. Charlie enjoyed golfing at South Hills Country Club, was an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills and was lead singer in several bands including Shadyside Blues Band. Surviving is his wife Debra Loder-Clark; three children Nicholas (Kelly) Amatuzzo, Danielle (Noah) Clark and Alex (Samantha) Clark all of Jamestown and eight grandchildren Aliya and Andre Graham, Layla, Alida and Milly Amatuzzo and Alexa, Mila and Kaeli Clark. Friends will be received from 4-7 pm Tuesday in the Lind Funeral Home. No formal service will be observed. Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
