It is with great sadness that I learned of the passing of Ruth this past week. Having grown up in Jamestown and been a friend of the family and daughter Beth, during my teen age years she was like a second mom to me for many years. A finer more resolute and kinder person I could not imagine. A giver of herself always to others first and foremost she was a strong example especially well respected for her empathy and compassion to others. There were multitudes of times where she fed us at the Dairy Queen and her home growing up in Jamestown and Lakewood. Both she and her husband Doug always welcomed any and all who entered their business or home with kindness and open arms. She led by example and always was non judgemental if you needed someone to talk to. I personally will miss her warm smile greatly though I believe she travels now to a safe heavenly realm. Thank you Ruth for always being the warm understanding woman I knew growing up, your sincere precious heart will be sorely missed . God bless in Jesus's name amen. May you always rest in his arms.
