Obituary of Mark S. Thorpe

Mark S. Thorpe, 63, of Jamestown, passed away Thursday April 25, 2024, in Absolute Care of Salamanca. He was born August 18, 1960, in Jamestown, NY, the son of the late Donald and Elizabeth Baker Thorpe. Mark was a 1979 graduate of Jamestown High School. Before his retirement he was the owner and operator of C. Thorpe Company in Sugar Grove, PA. He enjoyed hunting, racing, and watching football. Surviving is his daughter Jennifer Thorpe of Jamestown; his son Michael Thorpe of South Carolina; his two grandsons: Nathan Carlson and Miles Thorpe; brothers Dick (Sue) Thorpe and Skip (Bonnie) Thorpe and sister Lori Ginnetti. Also surviving are twenty nieces and nephews, all of which he loved deeply. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters Pam Nordstrom and Cheryl Morrison.
