Obituary of Durval M. Carvalho

Durval M. Carvalho, 35, of 16 Dewey Place, died at 5:08 p.m. Monday (April 12, 2004) in WCA Hospital. He was born Dec. 10, 1968, in St. Michaels, Azores, Portugal, a son of Jose and Maria Costa Carvalho. He had been employed by Fairbank Farms as a maintenance worker. He loved his four children. Besides his mother of Portugal, he is survived by his wife, the former Patricia Morin, two sons: Victor Carvalho of Massachusetts, and Donovan Carvalho at home; two daughters: Selena and Isabella Carvalho, all at home; five brothers: Jose, Carlos, Fernando, Dennis and John Carvalho; and five sisters: Almorida Couto, Vitalia Correia, Anna Rapose, and Isabell and Eliza Carvalho. He was preceded in death by his father. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 16, in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Donald E. Ray, WCA Hospital chaplain, will officiate. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
