I was just thinking of some other memories..."Mom" always gave me "fancy panties" for Christmas and I gave her an Oxford cloth blouse and peanut m&ms. Tiger was the only cat I ever knew who used the "people toilet" for its intended purpose! I also appreciated "Mom's" love for Tiger as Mom let Tiger lick the very last ice cream out of her very own bowl!

HI,"Mom," I hope you and my own Mom are having a nice visit. You taught me so much during all of those hours at your kitchen table on Brewer Place where we worked on lesson plans and report cards...talked about your next vacation and shared "Dad's" best mashed potatoes. I still make them with a little bit of onion and sugar in the water! You introduced me to Diet Pepsi and Aunt Esther's sour cream cookies which I stll make. We talked about all those "things" which make women's relationships so special and cherished. You wee supportive and loving at some of life's difficult moments. Thank you for being loving and helpful to your grandchildren & the students @ St. Greg's during computer classes. love and God-speed, val

There are so many wonderful memories of Glenndene. She was a great friend to my mother and us and I am grateful to have taken several trips with her and my mom every summer while growing up. We spent many weekends getting together and playing lots of fun games. She will always be remembered.

Grandma Crofoot,
I believe that family has bonding. I desperately wanted to visit you in March but I am in the middle of the semester. I had a plan to visit you after this semester and I told Liz in the facebook about it. I know why now. It's just one more week before the semester ends, you just couldn't wait!
You know you will always on my mind and in my memories... Love you, Grandma.
Patty.

Looks like they want memories? Oh, where to start...I remember the house in Westfield and how we thought a witch lived behind the fence at the end of her dead-end street, I remember watching the Sound of Music every year on Christmas Eve with all the grandchildren while the adults sat in the kitchen; as we got older we were allowed to play boardgames too, my favorite (and still is) being Huggermugger. I searched for over ten years before I received it as a gift for Christmas just a couple of years ago.
Grandma was the person who introduced me to crossword puzzles and jigsaw puzzles which have become favorites in my house. I will always be grateful for all the patience she had teaching me everything she knew about computers, starting with the Texas Instrument, Commodore 64, her first Apple, and moving right down the list. I even remember the knitting lessons we tried so hard at, til finally she gave up and let me use the knitting machine. hahaha...I still can't knit. In 1996, I got a toothpick stuck in my foot, the only person I would let try to remove the toothpick was Grandma. She just had that way about her...to the point, fun, and had a heart of gold. She was always there to talk to, some of the best conversations being over a 5,0000 piece jigsaw puzzle and a can of Diet RC Cola.
She will always be missed, but I'm sure she's having a great time being reunited with Grandpa and my dad (Tom).
