Obituary of Jason E. Allen

Jason E. Allen, 31, of 609 Lakeview Ave Jamestown, died Monday June 21, 2010. He was born June 28, 1978 in Dunkirk, NY the beloved son of Cheryl Allen and the late William R. Allen. Jason was employed at Allied Fire Protection Systems and was a member of local 669. He also worked at Joo-Dee TV and Auto Sound. He was an avid NY Yankee fan as well as a Cleveland Browns fan. He enjoyed fantasy football and collecting sports cards. Jason was a beloved son, devoted Dad, and long time friend to many. Surviving besides his mother of Kernersville, NC are his two daughters, Katelyn Cara Allen, Karlie Antoinette Allen; his son, Kellen Richard Allen, all of Jamestown; two sisters, Ruthie Allen, Amanda Spencer, both of Wadesboro, NC; a brother, Jesse Powell of Kernersville; his fiance, Michelle Palmer of Jamestown; his longtime frienemy Jennifer Brady of Jamestown; and his English Bulldog, Yogi. He was preceded in death by his father who died June 5, 1997; and his grandparents, William S. and Pinkie Allen. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. The family will be present to receive friends from 1 to 3 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the Lind Funeral Home.
