We recall what a wonderful neighbor and fellow church member we had in Evy. When we saw her at Wesbury a few times, she spoke lovingly of all of her family. We know that you will miss her a lot.

Larry, Danny, Sue and John:
What great memories I have of your mom in the old neighborhood. Eve was a strong, formidable, kind and loving presence. I can remember our parents getting together for coffee frequently in the evenings, the signal for which was the house whose turn it was to host the gathering blinking the front light twice. I value those memories. I extend to you my sympathy and best wishes.

Dear Grandma Larson, From the first time I met you until our last goodbye, you always made me feel welcome, accepted, and loved. Your arms were always open and your words were always encouraging, especially after the kids were born. You stood up for us at our wedding, reached out to us when Christopher died, and helped us welcome Luke, Jeremy, and Julie into the world when they were born. You filled Dan's life with wonderful memories that he builds on now with our own children. You have been a constant in our life and you will be missed dearly. I remember showing you Grandpa Larson's old workbench after I restored it and you saying, "If I ever wanted to cry, it would be now." I was so proud of doing something special for you after you have done so much for me. Give Christopher a kiss for me. I love you, Meg

Dear family of Evelena,
Tomorrow a candle will be lit for your mother, grandmother, great-grandmother in my home in The Netherlands. Evelena married three weeks before my mother, during World War II. Do you think our mothers will meet in heaven, and talk about their families, connected by friendship between Larry and Vi and me?
I'll be with you in thoughts, Yvonne

Dear Grandma, I will always remember Christmas mornings at your house, big breakfasts, family gatherings, playing UNO, tunneling through the snowbanks, baseball in the back yard, sitting on the back porch, cookouts, helping with the birdhouses, playing in the garden, and swimming in the neighbors pool. Thanks for being a cool grandma and always accepting me for who I am. I will always hold you in my heart and cherish the time I had with you, especially our last time together with Meg and the kids in the rose garden. Say hello to Grandpa, Mom, Boo, and Christopher. I love you, Danny

Thank you for some of the best memories of my life. Thank you for 35 birthday cards, 8 anniversary cards, and remembering my children's birthdays every year. Thank you for your jelly, chocolate cream pies, refrigerator cookies, pork chops, teaching me the art of the relish tray, and having a magic freezer that never runs out of food (i never saw grandma go to the grocery store ever!). Thank you for fun holidays, summer baseball games, raking leaves, and sledding in the winter. Thanks for making me feel at home when I was a long way from my family and needed some love and support. Thanks for showing me off to your friends and never letting me win at rummy. Most of all thanks for being proud of me. You left some pretty big shoes to fill. I can only hope to be just as good of a grandparent as you were to me. Love you Grandma....
