The Joy of Roy
*An international expert in the maintenance of antique automobiles,
*A faithful usher and greeter at EFMC.,,, making sure that visitors felt welcomed!! WE DID! = )
*A man of many jokes.... many, many jokes... which brought joy to others.
*An inventor of sorts....of gadgets,a bulletin holder, pencil holders,light switch line, fancy wheel chair equipped with horn and oh so many more,.......
*A delightful sense of humor......During brain surgery.....”Doc....do you see a brain? Could you run out and tell Ma that I really do have one?! “
*A lover of all things Nancy.
*A volunteer at Powdermill Park Fish Hatchery and a man who supplied fishing poles to many to share his joy of fishing!
*An adopted grandparent to the Stark children.
*A Bicycle rider up until three years ago?! Oh my, Roy!!
*A collector of tools.
*A writer of car manuals.
*A devoted follower of our Lord Jesus.
While I am writing about the joy of Roy I would like to take a moment to honor his Nancy.... How much we can learn from her dedication and commitment to the man she loved..... even during tough times.... even during doctors visits galore..... Thanks Nancy... for taking such good care of Roy. Thanks for being an example of unselfish love and caring. You remain in our prayers!
