I worked at the Five Point Coffee Shop, also known as Dairyland during high school, which is now a flat piece of landscape at Love School. I met Al about this time. He was truly a gentleman. I found out at that time that I was in third grade with his sister Delores at St. Peter and Paul School. Yes, he did have a great respect for the latest car which was always well kept. He was the best dancer among our group at the time.
May he rest in Peace.

Dad -
Thank you for all the wonderful memories that I have of you. I so admired your courage throughout the last year or so. You never thought of yourself, and just kept on going. I hope you enjoyed the mass and military service today as it was truly beautiful especially when the sun came out so brilliantly, very fitting for such a dear father. Love Always, Deb
P.S. What are you driving up there?

I spent a lot of time at the DiMaio home while I was growing up. I remember Mr. D. was always working on a car that would turn out “sharp”, or working to make his house even more beautiful. He had a warm smile and laugh, and you could see how much he loved his family. Rest in peace, Mr. D.

We only knew Al by seeing him when he would come to Lisciandro's Restaurant with his brother and nephew. He was a fine man and we respected him very much. We missed him coming in and stopping to talk to us, but know, as good a man as he was, he is safe in Heaven. Rest in Peace Al.

I remember when I was a young girl and Uncle Al and Aunt Marie would visit my parents and he was always smiling and making those around him feel good. He was smiling and "positive" each time I saw him - he always will have a special place in my heart. Recently I had to take a business trip and stopped to see my brother, and son and his family. I'm so glad I made the time to visit Uncle Al at the Lutheran home. I can't believe how well he seemed to feel less than one week before he passed. My thoughts and prayers go out to Dean, Debbie and Steve and their family as well as Uncle Roland. Uncle Al, I love you! Tell my mom I said hi - I'm sure you're already talking over things. Rest in peace.

Dear "Dadio",
Thank you for always looking out for me throughout my childhood and adult life. You protected me and made sure I was happy and safe until the day you went to heaven. Your patience with me was truly a gift. I'll remember the fun rides in the convertible cruising the lots and picking up goodies to bring home. In love, your son DEAN.
