My thoughts and prayers are with the family. I always admired Joyce as a wonderful Christian woman who always had a smile. She will be greatly missed by family and friends. Praise God for his gift of salvation and now she is rejoicing with her Lord and Savior in Heaven!

I love that Grandma's biography mentions that she was a "meticulous homemaker." It's true. She once cleaned the bathroom with a toothbrush because it needed to be done and it was the only tool she had available. But her homemaking didn't stop at cleanliness. She exuded warmth and hospitality, and because of her care, concern, and attentiveness, her home was always full of love. Today we remember and return that love, and today we rejoice that my grandma, who spent her days offering warm hospitality to others, spends eternity enjoying God's hospitality in the place prepared for her since the beginning of time. We love you, Grandma Joyce. There is no grandma sweeter than you. (Except when you were playing Uno. You were surprisingly ruthless at Uno!) May the peace of God sustain us all, now and always. Amen.

Aunt Joyce loved her family, home, church and our Lord. Growing up just a few blocks away bring memories of always being welcomed at Aunt Joyce and Uncle Larry's lovely home, the beautiful gardens, family holidays, trips, picnics, church, her hospitality, and knowing her love. Aunt Joyce showed me how to wrap presents really well. I thank God for her and her loving care of her family. I am thrilled she is now at home with her Lord and Savior. My deepest sympathy, thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Peace be to her memory.

My deepest sympathy to you, Larry, Marilyn, Shirley; your children and the grandchildren. Joyce was a lovely, quietly spoken lady that always had a ready smile and you knew Who was Lord of her life in just a few minutes conversation. So sorry how life ends ...but I know as you do, that she is with her Lord. Praise God for a live well lived; loving her children and grandchildren. We will miss her. May God touch each of you with His comfort, as only He can.
God Bless,
Kathy Lawson
