Nev...my favorite neighbor. Thank you for being such a good friend and letting me get to know you and your family. I have never met such wonderful people before - that are so welcoming, especially Nev. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. I know Nev is in a better place now and will continually be remembered. Love, Charly (Curly)

I met your father a few years ago when he asked me to come over and do a market analysis on his home. He was taking such good care of your mother and seem to be such a gentle man. I stopped to see him from time to time, the last time about a month after your mother's passing. He loved her so much and missed her so I am sure he is happy to be with her now. I am sorry for your loss of both your parents

P.S. I just checked the JHS senior annual and discovered that Mr. Horner & my mother graduated together and he signed her book. He wrote, "Loads Of Luck, Nevil Horner"

So sorry to read about the passing of your father. Our Deepest Sympathy to the family. My husband knew him from delivering flowers to the house from Girtons Florist, and they would always chat. The last time he spoke with him was at the Lind Funeral home when your mother passed away. My mother was in the next room, she died on Sept. 28th (Genevieve Buckley). My husband told me what a kind and caring gentleman Mr. Horner was, and he had also told me that previously from talking with him at the house. A little verse that comforts me is: "Perhaps there are not stars in the sky but rather openings where our loved ones shine down to let us know they are happy."

Mr. Horne was a very kind man and a member of the YMCA in Jamestown when I worked there. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. I will remember him always. He was always so pleasant and always had a smile and kind word for the staff there. I was the secretary for many years starting at the front desk in 1978. I am sorry for your loss.

I worked with your father for 15 years at the telephone co.
He made me a wooden manger for my nativity set and I still use it every Christmas. He also made me a stool with a high back that is still being used. He was very creative.
