Lucille and family, we just read of Oscar's death in today's newspaper. We loved him! He will be remembered by many of his Trinity Lutheran Church family in Kissimmee. He served so faithfully as an usher for many years, sharing his bright smile and strong handshake with all who encountered him. He will be remembered by many local students for his heartfelt and colorful stories of Pearl Harbor bringing that event to life for them. May he rest in peace and receive his eternal reward from Christ his savior!

I am so happy to have met you, Oscar. If only it had been sooner... But I'll always cherish the time we did have together. Your smile lit up the room! The dedication you had for your wife of 64 years is commendable. (I admire you both!!) We will take care of her, until you can be together again. You raised a wonderful daughter & she, in turn, brought up two amazing grandsons. Love your soon to be granddaughter <3
