Glenn, you were a good friend and were much like the dad that we never a had.
At least your battle is now over, no more tears flowing down your cheek,
no more pain, no more suffering, now you are no longer weak.
I still do not understand why this had to happen to you,
there wasn't anything for us you would not do, you had a heart of gold and much like me you hated the cold:)
You were always there for us and never once made us cry,
until the day you closed your eyes and had to say goodbye.
Now you are our Angel, so spread your wings out wide,
please wrap them around us whenever you see us cry.
Our time together was memorable and God took you way too fast,
I just wish that deep breath you took, had not been your last.
But I am proud to say, you were a part of our life, the greatest man we ever knew.
The greatest gift God gave was YOU…….. our friend, our grandpa, our dad…
It’s difficult to let you go but we must…
we must return the gift God gave us…
