I had the pleasure of visiting Rose with her daughter Pat this past fall. She was such a very gracious, lovely lady which came as no surprise after knowing Pat for many years and knowing what a kind, giving person she is. They say that "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree". My deepest sympathy to Pat,Steven,Kyle and their families as well as Mrs. Frazita's entire family. may God hold her in his arms to watch over all of you and keep you safe.

Dearest Grandma...I am proud to be your first Grandson and father to your first Great Grandchild; though this is not about me. There is a family tree you grew so tenderly, and have so much to be proud of... Now you and Grandpa are together again. Could there be a more kind, gentle, sweet, loving woman. You were always so good to Kyle and me. I have such extensive, and ALL fond memories and a real life example to guide me and reflect upon. God Bless you Grandma. Give Grandpa a big hug and my love. I love you. I will miss you. Thank you for being so good to me. Rest in peace, and watch over me. xo

Although we had the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Frazita only on a few occasions, and we got to know her quite well over the years through Pat Hulse's entertaining and touching stories about her mother. Rose once made Klaudia a beautiful white cardigan with "HELLO" across the back. It was her favorite sweater, and she wore it year after year until it was no longer big enough. Now, Klaudia's cousin Madeline Maugans wears it with pride! It meant so much to us that she always thought of our children. Rose's family and friends are fortunate to have had her in their lives for such a long time. We will always remember her as an example of how to love life and live with dignity.

My Dear Godmother,Aunt Rose,
Over the years there are so many special memories. Rather than listing them, I will keep them close in my heart, and share an Aunt Rose "bread" story. Well, everyone who knows you, knows that you made the best rolls in history. You knew how much I loved those rolls! Even when I would come back to New York with my husband and family in the summer, you had a fresh or frozen batch of dough or baked rolls waiting for me! I certainly felt blessed & special to have that honor and special treat! I have to say "thank you" to you, also for entrusting me with that recipe. Little did I know, when I asked for it, that the recipe in your head had never been written down or shared with others. But know that now, all Frazitas that wanted it, have that recipe to share with their families. And...for those that don't have it, just ask around; the rolls will live forever! I love you! You will always be in our hearts. Love, Carol, Neil, and Josie

There is something I will never forget about Rose. A couple years ago, Pat & I picked Rose up from the "Home" to take her out for dinner. She not only opened the car door for me, but also held the restaurant door for me. What a "lady"!

Dear Cheryl ~ I was so sorry to learn of your Mother's passing. Aptly named -- Rose -- gentle and sweet, but Rose also had an intense strength. You can even see it in her eyes in this picture. I'll never forget her (and you!) for the warm welcome and hospitality she extended to me and my Dad as the first to arrive in Fredonia after buying Steve's Drive-In and your home of so many years. So touching to know that she continued her good works even in her later life. It reminds me of a Biblical passage about the Lord greeting the faithful as they enter heaven, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant." Rose was certainly someone who 'ran the good race' and it soothes me heart to know that she's with her Lord now, and your beloved Dad. May God bless you and your Family as you mourn this loss. Love from Sue

DEAR FRAZITA FAMILY,PLEASE KNOW WE ARE WITH YOU IN OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS. ROSE WAS AN ANGEL ON EARTH.SHE ALWAYS HAD A SMILE, A KIND WORD; ALWAYS CLASSY, AN INCREDIBLY HARD WORKER.MY FAMILY ALWAYS HELD HER IN THE HIGHEST REGUARDS. I WAS VERY PROUD TO CARRY THE TORCH AND OWN SULLIVAN'S CHARBROIL WITH MY HUSBAND ; JIM . MY DAD BOUGHT IT FROM ROSE AND STEVE IN 1972(IT WAS STEVE'S DRIVE-IN THEN)HE OWNED IT FOR 15 YEARS, WE BOUGHT IT AND HAVE OWNED IT FOR 24 YEARS. WHEN ROSE CAME IN AS A CUSTOMER I ALWAYS TOLD MY EMPLOYEES WHO SHE WAS AND STAY ON THEIR TOES BECAUSE WE WANTED TO IMPRESS HER, AND KEEP THE PLACE CLEAN AND SERVE THE BEST LIKE SHE AND STEVE DID. SO GOD BLESS YOU ALL, THIS IS AN END OF AN ERA . SINCERELY, ALICE (SULLIVAN)KARALIA
