Wishing Gramma well on her new journey. Will never forget her young at heart attitude and endless energy! She will be missed by many. She was a corker to work with but taught me many things! Especially her simple banana muffins...Yum! So many memories. I luv you. Deanna

Hmmm where to start. So many good memories. Being up on the hill sitting out at the table just chatting away while dinner cooked on the bbq will always be some of my favorite memories of you. You were always there for all of us no matter what the problem big or small.I love you grandma and will always miss you.

Many years ago Shirley lived in Ashville and had many get togethers for us younger folks at her home. We played in a band called the Lost Horizons. Dan, her future husband played bass. We played all night sometimes and in the morning Shirley would make breakfast for everyone. She was that kind of person. I shall never forget her kindness. It was a testament to the goodness that she possessed and shared with others. God Bless you Shirley. Your life with us will never be forgotten.

I would have to write a book to tell all of the wonderful memories of my thirty-two year friendship with Shirley. She was everything that anyone could ever hope for in a friend! We laughed, we cried, we saw each other's children/grandchildren grow up. We loved garage sales, had (many) conversations every Friday at Davidson's in years past, but mostly loved just hanging out with each other at our homes, discussing recipes, our problems, our dreams and life in general. We LOVED to laugh and we did our share of crying too. She was always there when I needed her and "there" for many other people as well. I can't say enough about her. I loved her as much as a friend can love a friend. She was a classy, kind, and loving person. I will never forget her and will always miss her. My life will never be the same without her. My deepest sympathy to her family. You were all blessed to have her in your lives and you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

"Those we love
are never really lost to us -
we feel them
in so many special ways-
through friends
they always cared about
and dreams they left behind,
in beauty that they added to our days...
in words of wisdom we still carry with us
and memories that never will be gone...
Those we love are never really lost to us -
For everywhere their special love lives on."
We love you and miss you Grrandma, love always Kirk, Ariel and Keagan Gollnitz.
