Obituary of Shirley A. Olson

Shirley A. Olson, 76, of 6051 Wright Road, Dewittville, died Friday January 28, 2011, in her home. She was born August 25, 1934, in Corry, PA, a daughter of the late William and Mildred Staples Spangenburg. She had been employed by Ashville General Store as a cook. She was a member of Dewittville-Hartfield United Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband Daniel Olson, whom she married April 18, 1981; three children Sherry (Gene) Hunt of Island Pond, VT, Bonnie (Gary) Breneman of Falconer and Jerry (Deborah) Reeves, Jr of Portland, NY; eight grandchildren Constance Hadley, Mandy DuVall, Raymond Blair, Mark Roller, Janel Reil, Matthew Roller, Jerry Reeves III and Cathlene Reeves and thirteen great grandchildren. The funeral will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday in Dewittville-Hartfield United Methodist Church. Rev. Michael Spell will officiate. Burial will be in Wellman Road Cemetery.
