Obituary of Lucille M. Zulick
Pastor Lucille M. Pollaro Zulick, 71, of Route 426 Clymer, passed away unexpectedly at 8:58 p.m. Wednesday (February 2, 2011) in St. Vincent Hospital, Erie, PA.
An area resident for most of her life she was born November 14, 1939 in Jamestown, NY a daughter of the late Charles N. and Jennie DeAngeles Pollaro, Sr.
She was a graduate of Southwestern Central School and in later years was ordained a pastor through the Oregon Gospel Ministries, Inc.
She was currently serving as Pastor of the Church of the Good Shepherd in Clymer, NY. In earlier years she was employed by the Jamestown Post Journal and while living in the State of Washington had worked for the Little Church on the Prairie in Lakewood, WA and By His Word Christian Center in Tacoma, WA.
While serving her Lord at the Church of the Good Shepherd, she was also very instrumental in the formation and operations of the Good Shepherd Mission Outreach, Inc., a program that was near and dear to her heart.
Surviving are her four children Jeffrey (Karen) Norris of Auburn, WA, Scott (Laurie) Norris of Puyallup, WA, Mark Norris of Olympia, WA, Randy Norris of Gainesville, FL, four grandchildren Kari Norris of Auburn, WA, Mari Lyn Norris of Olympia, WA, Michael Norris of Puyallup, WA, Chase Norris of Gainesville, FL, one great granddaughter Victoria Aguilar of Auburn, WA and her brother Samuel (Ann) Pollaro of Jamestown. She is also survived by her close personal friends, Bruce Barnes and Lacey Stewart, who were like extended family to her.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Charles N. Pollaro, Jr.
The funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m Wednesday in the Lind Funeral Home. Mr. Bill Greenwald will officiate. Burial will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
