There aren't enough words to describe my Aunt Shirley! Mostly the laughter she brought to me and my family growing up.
I will never forget all the special times we spent together for dinner and holidays- the memories that are still so special to me.
Special hugs to your family.

I absolutely adored Shirley and will miss her kind face , laughter, and friendly spirit. My Mom, Grandma , and I would go out to lunch with Shirley, Pam , and Debbie every month, and although we haven't done that in quite a while it was a special treat that we all really looked forward to. Our love ,thoughts, and prayers go out to the family, and we thank God for giving us the gift of Shirley -she will be missed...

I like to think of my great-aunt Shirley as the unofficial Johnson family welcome wagon. She always seemed to be the first one there to give us hugs when we came to town to visit. Shirley took such pride in her large, expanded family and I think her enthusiasm made us appreciate being together even more.
Sending much love from North Carolina to my Jamestown family. Thinking of you.

Always remember that she is watching over you and smiling proudly!
We will miss her a great deal - especially her pepparkakor cookies!!! They were always super thin : )
I always loved stopping into Walden Books and saying "hi"- especially after I got my license and was free to the mall by myself.
We have said a special prayer for all you!

Shirley was a dear neighbor at she and her family's home 2923 Route 394,Ashville. I remember Shirley with great fondness and admiration for her wonderful and cheerful outlook. She always had positive things to share. Shirley was very active in her church and shared some of her experiences with me. Shirley was an exceptional, loving mother and wife to beloved Paul. She was so proud of Paul and her two daughters, Pamela and Debra and shared highlights of their lives with me. As a young woman, at the time, I marveled at her energy and spirit toward life.
I will cherish all the fond memories of Shirley and her beautiful Christian spirit.
