Some of my best childhood memories are of playing golf with my Dad , Mr. Larson and his son Sean. He was so much fun to be around on and off of the course. Although I had not seen him in many years I think of those times often as I am now a Golf Professional.
My sincere condolences to the Larsons.

I was very saddened to hear of the passing of Shayne. In high school Shayne intervened in an argument I was having with a fellow classmate. He walked up to the young man and said, “get lost.” I looked at him and asked “who are you?” He smiled and replied, “I am your cousin Shane.” Although we played together as young children, I had not seen him in many years. I heard him play the guitar and sing a few times after that and I thought he was great. I wish I would have know him better. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
With Sympathy,
Cousin-Judy

Wow - what a shock. My wife called me at work this morning and gave me the news. It took my breath away and so many memories flashed back from when we were kids. Shayne lived on Barker - I was right around the corner on 317 hazzard. I have a lot of pictures of us as kids. He came to all my birthday parties. When we moved to hallock st our familes remained friends. We spent every memorial day on Prentergast watching the parade. I have so many memories - one of my favorite is when Shayne shot an arrow through ths side of my dads car. That was a good one. We threw a lot of rocks in the woods. Kozy Corner was a blast - spent a lot of time there while in and out of the Navy. I will miss Shayne alot. I will write more later. Nancy and kids you have my sympathies.

Oh Nancy, I am so sorry to hear of Shayne's passing. So many, many great memories....the Kozy Korner picnics (his lifting a keg and carrying it all by himself), his wonderful strumming (especially for me -Jim Croce's - and many other great songs), his ready smile and overall demeanor. He will be sadly missed and will live in all our hearts. God bless you and your family and know that my prayers are with you. Janet

To the family of SHAYNE LARSON, I send my deepest condolences.
I met Shayne many, many years ago when he owned The Kozy Korner. Twenty-five cent draft nights and "foos-ball" were all the rage. What fun the old crowd was then. Shayne was the best bartender. Always eager to please the customers.
Rest in peace Shayne, and may God be with your family.
