I always enjoyed visiting the Harris Residence and could always count on John to greet me with, "Can I talk to you?",or "Come here, I have something to show you" and he would lead me down the hall or to his room for a serious conversation about what was on his mind. John also loved to joke and pretend to want to box with you, but all in fun.
I'm so glad you were able to see and share photographs of your beloved family before leaving us. I'm glad to have known you and wish you peace.
I'll be out of town and won't be able to attend the service on Monday, but I'll be thinking of all of you and when I think of John it will bring a smile to my face. I hope it does for you as well.
