Obituary of John F. Beaver

John F. Saversky Beaver, 80, of 91 Harris Avenue, died Tuesday April 19, 2011 in his home. He was born March 3, 1931, in Olean, a son of John and Eleanor Beaver Saversky. John participated in the Senior Adult Day Hab Program. He loved music especially the Eagles and played the keyboard and piano. He loved receiving gifts of animal print sweaters from his family members and collected several throughout the years. He enjoyed children, weaving and crafting yarn blankets and also enjoyed working outdoors or basking in the sun. Surviving are a cousin Margaret Brown of East Aurora, NY, special friends Jodie Linamen and her children Jessie and Haylee. He is also survived by several housemates and friends at his home in The Resource Center. He was preceded in death by his parents and his grandparents H. Norman and Susan Beaver, who raised him. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the Lind Funeral Home. Visitation will not be observed. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Olean.
