Wow Joe was our childhood friend in Salamanca and high school. here it is 2020 and just found out. He was an awesome kid and teenager. Very protective from bullies as well. Don't let his calm demeanor make you think he wouldn't stand up for his friends while being bullied. he did. This is a sad day for me.

He was such a nice, soft spoken man. My family and I have been going to the store for years and although we never exchanged names, he knew our dog, Bella, and always asked about her and gave her treats. She looked forward to going for a walk to the store because of him. There is a void in the store without him there. Our thoughts and prayers to his family. He will be missed.

When I first met Joe, he was my manger at Woolworth. In those years I was angry most of the time and Joe was always calm and cool. You don't meet many people who have the gifts of being calm, kind and caring...Joe was all those and more. Having known Joe for 25 years our lives would cross paths now and again....he always had a smile and was glad to see you, I will miss that. My condolences to Terri and his family..you are in my prayers.

Joe was a constant figure at Wilson Farms. No matter what day or time, it seemed he was always there. Joe made that store the best in town. Always pleasant and smiling, and always on the move. We only exchanged normal conversations, but I feel like I knew him well. My sympathy to all who loved him. He will not be forgotten.

I was very saddened to hear about the death of our dear friend, Joe. My deepest sympathy to Joe's family.
Joe made morning visits to Wilson Farms something that I looked forward to each day. Joe epitopmized a true gentleman with always kind words and deeds and always a friendly smile. He knew everyone by name and was keen to details about each of his customer's lives. He was not just an employee of Wilson Farms, but to many of us, he was our dear friend. Mornings will never be the same again. Rest in Peace, Joe. I will miss you.

My deepest sympathies to Joe's entire family. I only knew Joe as a customer at Wilson Farms. He ALWAYS had a smile and a friendly word. Didn't matter if I hadn't been in the store for months, he would always call me by name. So hard to understand when someone like Joe is taken from this world too soon. I know all to well as my Dad died when he was 52 and I was 15. What I can say is my memories of my Dad have always brought me comfort. It's been 30 years since he passed. Even as I write this I am stunned and saddened. The world is richer for Joe having been in it. God bless you all. I pray for your eternal rest Joe, I shall see you on the other side.
