I am sorry for your loss. I remember Mr. and Mrs Papa living on both Valley View and East Virgina Bd. in Jamestown. I grew up on Valley View and remember them well-they lived next to my grandparents while on East Virginia; they had a big black dog named 'Puppy' and they let me take him for walks, etc. to Allen Park. Sometimes, Mrs. Papa would come out and give me candy from her store. Great memories! I am sorry, again for your loss-and greetings from Fort Mill, SC.

Margaret, Joe, Sue, Diane and Pudgie,
I send my heartfelt sympathy for your loss. Jay's obituary said it well. She was always smiling, and greeted you like she had been waiting to see you forever.
I'm sure you will cherish your memories.

I'm so sorry to hear about your Mother. She sounds like she remained the wonderful Mother I remember when I use to play with Susie on Liberty St. She was a sweetheart.

Diane, Susan and Ben, What wonderful memories I have of the many times we spent with Aunt Jay and Uncle Pappy! They were always so interested in what Fred and I and our family was doing. We ate, drank and shared many stories and laughs around my mother-in-law's (Helen Cusimano)dining room table. I also have many wonderful memories of the wonderful sister-hood Aunt Jay shared with Helen. She was very much a part of our lives and will be very much missed by myself and my children. May your hurt soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times. Love Carol Cusimano, Akron, OH

We are both saddened over the loss of your mother, especially so soon after your father's passing. This picture expresses her perfectly - her kindness and joy shine through.
We have wonderful memories of Josephine at the candy factory, as do our children. We all loved her. Our deepest sympathy.

Diane, Susan and Ben,
What a lovely obit for a wonderful woman. She was a great aunt and along with your dad they made a great team. I always think of her laughing and smiling and "bragging" about her children and grandchildren who all were "doing very well". She always was dressed to the nines and had the shoes and purses to match every outfit, every time. May your memories bring you peace and comfort.
Love,
Pat

Diane, Sue and Pudge we are thinking of you at this time.
We loved our Aunt very much. She was so kind to us and our family. We had a lot of fun at her expense and our 4th of July picnic will never be the same without Angie, Pappy and Jay. We only have good thoughts and memories. As your dad is probably telling her right now in heaven " Jay lets get this show on the road"
Love, your cousins Ben and Ann
