Obituary of Cynthia L. VanGuilder

Cynthia Giordon VanGuilder, 52, of Yantis, TX formerly of Jamestown, NY passed away on Sunday (July 17, 2011) in the Eastern Texas Medical Center, Quitman, TX. She was born July 30, 1958 in Jamestown a daughter of Emilie Siebert Giordon and the late Albert R. Giordon. She was a 1976 graduate of Jamestown High School. Surviving are her mother of Jamestown, a son Jonathan Clark, a grandson Christopher Clark both of TX, a sister Brenda Wiedenhofer of Jamestown, two brothers Ronald Giordon of Medina, OH, Gerald Giordon of Erie, PA and her caregiver and companion of several years Jim Corbett of Yantis, TX. She was preceded in death by her father who died December 31, 2006. A private family service will be held in the Lind Funeral Home. Deacon Michael Lennon of St. James Catholic Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Falconer,NY. Visitation will not be observed. Memorials may be made to the W.C.A.
