Dear Pam and family, I am sorry for the loss of your Dad. He was the same age as my parents, but I know it is difficult to lose a parent or anyone whom you are close to. It has been many years since I have seen you Pam, school days...but, I still remember how you and I stayed after school every day in 4th. grade to wash the board for our favorite teacher..."Miss Sanders". You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers! With Love, Patty

I will miss him coming down to visit us in Georgia, but I am so happy that he is in the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus. He started living life eternal the moment he believed on Him and the power of His resurrection. I am separated from him only for a moment. I love you Grandpa!
"You, however, are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if in fact the Spirit of God dwells in you. Anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him. But if Christ is in you, although the body is dead because of sin, the Spirit is life because of righteousness. If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you." Romans 8:9-11

For our dear grandpa,
You were the only grandfather that we had that we loved with all our hearts and always thought you loved us back. We were unable to be with you through your final illness and unable to hold your hand, tell you we loved you, and to tell you that you didn't have to hold on any longer, for we knew that God had your place in Heaven waiting for you. All your pain, and sickness is all gone now. We would've told you that you didn't have to be strong any longer, to go ahead and let go, for Jesus was waiting for you. We deeply regret that we couldn't be there for you in your final days because your family took it upon themselves to not even let us know. They robbed us and you of that last hug, smile, tear, and moments alone with you for us to say goodbye to you then to tell you that you were our grandpa and not a day in our lives will pass that will ever make us forget how very very much you meant to us. It's time for you to rest now and for the rest of us to go on with our lives. Grandpa, we love you and will miss you until the end of our days.

What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day,one more word, one more touch, we may not understand why you left this earth, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived and that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget. Our Sincere Sympathy..
