To all the family:
My memories of your lovely mother/grandmother - always smiling, always pleasant, helpful, a friend to everyone. It was a pleasant experience to have her step up to the P O window. She and your dad were such an asset to our small community...always interesting conversation to share....I recall their coming to the PO, bringing a picture of Mr. Temple's Kennedy Band, taken upstairs in the old Odd Fellows Hall; we'd played there, and Mr. Temple surprised us all by having a photographer take our picture...I think it was Singleton Abbey.... I did not know that Helen was Salutatorian of her High School Class! No wonder she had so much charisma! You must all have many happy, joyous memories of her to share of this great person!
