I was very sad to hear about Don's passing, he was a very dear friend to my dad, Charles Condon. I remember him as very facinating man with the best stories, the coolest books and those gorgeous antiques in his home. My prayers are with his family.
I REMEMBER WHAT A NICE PERSON DON WAS WHEN I WORKED AT MRC IN THE OFFICE FOR ABOUT TEN YEARS. THAT WAS 1961 AND I WAS EIGHTEEN. A VERY CARING AND DECENT MAN.
I am saddened hearing about Dons death. May he rest in peace! I met Don at his morning stops at McDonalds. He was always there dipping his burger in his coffee- you could count on it. Things got serious for him a few years back when his house caught fire which he heroically crawled out of unscathed. I gave him all my respect. His time came to soon. RIP Don!
Aunt Dorothy and David,
I'm very sorry for the passing of uncle Don. He was a very nice man and I'll remember him fondly. You will be in my prayers tomorrow.
I'm sorry to hear about Don. I got to know him when I went to work right after high school in the mail room at MRC back in 1960. Don was always friendly and I thought sophisticated and worldly.
We lost touch after I left MRC, but whenever we would run into one another we would have a nice long chat.
My sympathy goes out to you.
