My best wishes to the Mitchell family. Tom was a great guy that gave a lot of himself to Jamestown, and Camp Onyahsa. My Dad and Tom spent many hours together at the Cherry Lounge with the rest of the "gang". A special note to Sue, my dear friend from long ago. My sympathies to you and yours. May he rest in peace! Love, Mark

Len and I knew Doris and Tom from all our years at the Unitarian Church. How we miss Tom. He always had a story, a comment, and a smile.
He was always there to lend a hand at church and to help us enjoy the day. So often he a would light a candle of fun for his grandchildren. Now we light one in Tom's honor and memory.

I am a longtime friend of Becky's, and Tom Mitchell was an inspiration to me throughout my high school years. I found intellectual thought, liberal thinking, and a wonderful open mindedness at the Mitchell home. Tom and his family were one reason I later joined the Unitarian Church. More recently I have so enjoyed seeing Tom whenever Becky visited in the summer. My husband, Juan and I will miss Tom's friendship.

A fond farewell to my favorite uncle! And such a role model for carrying your passions into old age! It was but 2 years ago he ventured to California for our Oktoberfest! He introduced me as a teen, to camping and sailing, and he even let us scoop him up to cruise the Erie Canal with us! A good, caring man. A solid Humanitarian who could talk your ear off :-) You were loved and you will be missed!

I met Mr. Mitchell, my neighbor, a few years ago while collecting for the Leukemia/Lymphoma society. He was very pleasant and shared about his own health battle. When he told me he was a volunteer driver for the Cancer society, I was very impressed, especially because of his age. I will miss this kind neighbor. My sympathies to his family. Linda Demler

I will always remember skiing with Tom at Holiday Valley. One day we skied in horrible Icy conditions and everybody struggled with them except Tom, he just carved like they weren't even there and was 79 at the time. He was always friendly with others and will always be a role model to me!

Glad to have had the privilege to know such a caring family man. May the wonderful memories that fill your heart help to bring you comfort. With my deepest sympathy.
