Dear Liz, Tim and I were deeply saddened to read of Mac's passing. He was such an extraordinary, wonderful man. You both were among the first to welcome me when I returned to Jamestown briefly in the 90's. You occuply a special place in my heart and it was always such a treat to see you both when Tim and I would come home to visit. Tim and Dale were classmates and friends growing up. so he especially wanted to tell you he thought the world of Mac. The world can hardly afford to lose such a gentleman. Mac will be greatly missed. We are thinking of you and your family. Peace and love, Murphy and Tim

Just a wonderful man, always made me feel extremely welcome, although we did have our differences when it came to the Yankee baseball. I will miss playing cards with him.

I helped to take care of Mr MacIntyre in the hospital. Even though it was in the hospital, it was always a great pleasure to see him!! He always had a great big smile on his face and a "there she is!" whenever I walked through the door!! I will miss that man more than anyone knows, he is how everyone aspires to be, kind, gentle and very gracious. It has been a great pleasure to have know you!!

I owe much of who I am today to my Father who always had time for me to play catch, to go fishing, to chase pheasants and to share our adventures as men.
