My Dear Ronnie - aka "Nonnie" Remember I couldn't say my "R's when we were small so you became "Nonnie", and Ricky was "Icky" You boys weren't just my cousin, you were our brothers. That will never change!! You were an usher in my wedding for cripes sake!! How are you going to be able to help with our 40th wedding anniversary party in a couple of years? I know it would have been one hell of a party!! You really were always the life of the party, such a great sense of humor, even to the very end. I hadn't seen you in years (since I moved to Syracuse) but a few weeks ago when I came to town to visit Ron's mom, Debbie asked me if I wanted to go visit you, and I SURE AM GLAD I DID!! Still cracking those jokes, and go figure, you still have a full head of hair too! Remember playing Michigan rummy with Gram, Grampa, Aunt Kathy, Aunt Tootie, & everyone? You usually won all those pennies too!! You sure do have a lot of our family in heaven. Keep them laughing, and tell them all I said hello & miss all of you!! Jimmy had better behave or I know the other 3 of you will come & kick his butt! Rest in Peace Ronnie. We love you!!

RONNIE,
While we were growing up, you four boys were more like brothers than cousins to me. We were very close then. I remember your mom dropping us off at the park while she went to get groceries, and a couple of kids getting caught taking some pepsi. Ricky had to be the one to tell your mom and we all got into trouble, but she never told my parents! Also, when all of you were trying to force me to cross the railroad tracks, and when I finally got the nerve and ran across, a train came! I was soooo scared and all of you just laughed. As we got older, you were the life of our parties, as you may have been for many of your friend's parties. As the years went on, we drifted apart and led our different lives. I am blessed and honored to have grown closer to you over these past several months. I was glad to do what I could for you. I finally found the Hostess Ho-Ho's you were so desperately craving--Carol found them in Syracuse and mailed them to me to give to you. I know you accepted the Little Debbie's, but they just didn't hit the spot. You and Jimmy brought a tear to my eye when both of you said that my granddaughter, Kailyn, reminded both of you of your mother. And yes, she has lost her glasses again! She was the one that always wanted to go with me when she knew I was going to your house. She knew that she could get cheese, pepsi, ice cream sandwiches, and just about anything else she wanted. I see how you have touched the lives of many and how much many of them will miss you. Although I am saddened by your loss, I am relieved that your pain and suffering is over. We will now suffer the pain of losing you. Thank you Ronnie. I miss you, love you, and may you be at peace.

Thoughts and prayers to Jimmy and the family. How do you say goodbye to the only person in this town that never listened to what people said about me, never judged me.No matter what was going on you could always make me smile, laugh and just care about the moment. You were one of the first I met here and the 20 some years of knowing you has been a blessing.I wish I could turn back time and go back to the days at the Winsor Ale. I wish life, time and my own self pitty the last 3 months didnt get in the way of me coming and seeig you.If I could see you one last time I'd tell you what you meant to me,how much I love you and how much I would miss you if you were gone. This town was a better place having you in it.Your heart, body, mind and soul will be greatly missed by me. We defenatly lost an angel when he called you home.It just goes to show he only takes the good ones. One last laugh my friend,I guess I'll see you in another 100 years.I CAN'T say goodbye, all I can say is 'til we meeet again my friend.Your memory will live on in so many. I will never forget you, thank you so much for everything, for just being you. R.I.P. Ronnie

A long time ago Ron worked with me at Meals on Wheels and we always stayed in touch. He's responsible for helping me find pieces and parts for those fix it projects and then helping me buy appliances when the projects didn't work!!!
Certainly a kind and gentle soul taken from his family and friends to soon.
May your memories bring you comfort, joy and peace. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
