I have known Uncle Leonard all my life; he was married to my father's sister. I first remember him coming back from the War during which he and his brother Wally had been Prisoners of War, having been captured by the German Army. He never once complained about what surely was a horrendous experience, and never let that time in his life have any negative effect on his Christian outlook on life. There was never a finer man, Christian, and human being than Uncle Leonard. He always stood for what is the very best in all of us. He was a great husband to my Aunt Jeanette, and they both were wonderful parents to their daughter, my cousin Brenda. When we were young, my sister Joyce and I used to visit them on special trips which were always so precious in our memories. Later I visited them as often as possible with my own family. Their love and hospitality never ran out, and each visit left its own impression. I know both of them are extra blessed now that they are reunited and together with the Lord. I will never forget them.
