To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Uncle Louie...I will always remember your gentleness. You always had a smile that radiated LOVE for your family and friends! And "that twinkle in your eyes" let us know that you loved us beyond measure! I have many fond memories of you & will cherish them always. Mother is so upset that she cannot be with family at this time. She does not have access to a computer & wanted me to tell you that she loves you & the family & is with you & family in heart & thoughts. Know that your smiling face & soul will be with us forever! Please say hello to my sister, Cookie & my brother, Russell & that I love them. Tell all the family that has joined GOD in heaven hello as well. Our deepest sympathy to Frannie and the family. We always enjoyed visiting with Louie. Tom loved teasing him about his favorite team, the Buffalo Bills. Being from PA, we are steeler fans. And, ofcourse my Mom, Julie Jenkins was especially fond of her nephew, she always considered Louie one of her very favorites. Love to the family our prayers are with you.

When the angel wrapped his wings around you and whispered, "come with me", We cried and grieved about what had come to be. But then we remembered how you suffered, and how your strength had faded away, and though we'll always love you, we knew why you could not stay. You were so weary, and you needed to rest, God called you home because He knows whats best. It's comforting to know that you are free of pain, we would never want you to suffer like that again. We hope you know how much we all miss you, and that we love you dearly still; In our hearts there is a place that your memory will always fill.
Lewie was a good, hard working man and along with Franny always made a good home for his family. We will miss his impish smile. My prayers are with Fran and the family. Even tho my heart is grieving as well, It's hard when you lose a mate. May God comfort all of you. love you.

You were my first cousin as your mom and my dad were brother and sister. I remember going to your wedding, I was 9 years old. I always loved Lewie as he was a gentle heart and very kind, he always reminded me of my Aunt Amy. I remember talking to him at the Mayville Park when he was sitting and listening to "Bluegrass", which I enjoyed also. Will miss you here Lewie, but will see you later in heaven along with the other cousins, Aunt Amy, my dad and all the other born-again relatives I have met doing genealogy. Love Cousin Linda

If tomorrow starts without me, and I'm not there to see,
If the sun should rise and find your eyes all filled with tears for me;
I wish so much you wouldn't cry the way you did today,
while thinking of the many things we didn't get to say.
I know how much you care for me, and how much I care for you,
and each time that you think of me I know you'll miss me too;
But when tomorrow starts without me, please try to understand,
that an angel came and called my name and took me by the hand,
and said my place was ready in heaven far above,
and that I'd have to leave behind all those I dearly love.
But as I turned to walk away, a tear fell from my eye,
for all life, I'd always thought I didn't want to die.
I had so much to live for and so much yet to do.
it seemed almost impossible that I was leaving you.
I thought of all the love we shared and all the fun we had.
If I could relive yesterday, I thought, just for a while,
I'd say goodbye and hug you and maybe see you smile.
But then I fully realised that this could never be,
for emptiness and memories would take the place of me.
And when I thought of worldly things that I'd miss come tomorrow.
I thought of you, and when I did, my heart was filled with sorrow.
But when I walked through Heaven's gates, I felt so much at home.
When God looked down and smiled at me, from His great golden throne,
He said, "This is eternity and all I've promised you,
Today your life on earth is past but here it's starts anew.
I promise no tomorrow, but today will always last.
and since each day's the same, there's no longing for the past.
But you have been so faithful, so trusting, so true.
Though there were times you did some things you knew you shouldn't do.
And you have been forgiven and now at last you're free.
So won't you come and take my hand and share my life with me?"
So if tomorrow starts without me, don't think we're far apart,
for every time you think of me, please know I'm in your heart.
