Jimmy & Donald, You have(had) a Great mother.
One very thoughtful and caring Mother. One of the Best people to talk to if something was on your mind. She was a great Listener and a Holds Bar, Hands Down delicious cook, especially them Pecan Bird-Nest things. Also if not for her Pierogies, they would have never made it to my plate and I still can't cook them like her.
I mean having to put up with Jim Senior is hard enough, let alone the 2 Jims. If I didn't have a wonderful mother as it is now, then I would've loved to have Shirley as my mother... i mean I kind of had her as an adoptive mother growing up being around Don all the time (some times w/Jimmy) with the sleep overs and with Janet coming to visit every now and then. I guess I'd call the Coons' my 2nd family. Boy how I miss them times.
God Bless You, My Dear Shirley... A person with a Heart as BIG as yours and a wonderful writer too, (If you were employed, you would've been a great Novelist with all your writings, and that's no Lie.)
And Shirley, I want to Thank You for coming to see me when I was in the Hospital over 10 years ago but I was unfortunate to been able to come see you in your Dire Times... And you have been in my Thoughts, Past, Present and Future.
I'll truly miss you Shirley Coons.
