Susan, Your attempt to contact me via Facebook (I am not a member) came at a tough time so I am writing now. Your Dad was very much featured over the decades in our family as Tom shared stories of his youth. After you tried contacting me, I mentioned Jack's name to Dad but by that time his mind was just not the same. In going through old photos today to use for Tom's memorial (his death was 1/16/23) I found a letter from your Dad written in 1992. So sorry to learn of Jack's passing. His father and mine both worked in the front office at W.A.Case and Sons at 33 Market St in Jamestown. Jack and I did the 'dirty work' in the warehouse, unloading trucks and rail cars. Then we loaded the outgoing trucks. Jack was always pleasant and a hard worker. Have a donut on me!

I will always remember Jack as this larger than life kind of guy. Ridiculously tall man, fluffly white hair and mustache, kind, funny with a giant personality. :) I know in my heart that he's in a better place now.
