My mind encompasses happy times of being included in Johnson-Bush-Peterson family get-togethers. Wonderful memories surface of fun and fellowship in ceramics classes, Home League, band and Songsters. And to think that you're now playing your cornet in the celestial band and singing with the heavenly Songsters. Keep watching for the rest of us, for we're not far behind. My prayers and sympathies are with the family!

My first encouter with Alice was perhaps in 1934. Ernie Johanson and I sat on the left side of the balcony at 24 Harrison just to 'ogle' Alice sitting in the cornet section. It was love a first sight. Have had the pleasure of meeting Alice for the past number of years at Ladore. Another person of our Scandinavian heritage has gone to glory. Bless her memory.

Will so miss you, Mother Peterson. Your great good humor, your even better cooking and your strength through faith. Your life is an example of values at their very best. Rest peacefully in His arms.

The Johnson family goes back a long, long way. I remember them when I was stationed in Jamestown 1947-1949. I remember Alice and Howard when I believe they lived in New Jersey when their family was young. The years have a way of passing us by.
My thoughts go out to Betty Mae who is the last of the girls left. God bless you and comfort you at this sad time.
In the sweet bye and bye - we shall meet on the beautiful shore.

Please accept my deepest sympathy for I too know the pain of losing someone as special as a mom. May your family find comfort as I have in knowing that our loving heavenly Father promises us that very soon he will 'swallow up death forever, and certainly wipe the tears from all faces.' (Isaiah 25:8) What a wonderful day that will be!
