Obituary of Joseph A. Trusso

Joseph A. Trusso, 70, of 1033 N. Main Street, died Wednesday January 9, 2013, in WCA Hospital. A lifelong Jamestown resident, he was born March 13, 1942, a son of the late Carl and Angeline Liuzzo Trusso. He was a 25 year employee of the former Bigelow's Department Store and later worked for Ames Department Store and Holiday Inn. He was a communicant of Holy Apostle's Parish, Ss Peter and Paul Catholic Church and its St. Vincent DePaul Society. He was a member of Jamestown Senior Citizens, volunteered at Catholic Charities and enjoyed the time he spent at the James Prendergast Library. Surviving are a brother Franklin Trusso, of Jamestown, sister-in-law Karen J. Trusso; 2 nephews Kevin and Marty Billick and a niece Jody Stewart. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Holy Apostle's Parish, Ss Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Rev. Dennis W. Mende will be celebrant. Inurnment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends will be received for one hour prior to the mass Tuesday in the church.
