Shelley has always been like a little sister to me. She held such a special place in our family. After she moved back to Jamestown, after having lived in Connecticut with us, we lost touch for a few years.. but I'll never forget the look on her face or her tears when My sister Becky, my mom and I found her and surprised her at the Fish club where she was working... I know she loved us just as deeply. My heart is unbelievably saddened that her life ended so young and I am terribly sorry I wasn't able to make it back to Jamestown for the service today, but she is in my thoughts and prayers today... and always.

For us, Shelly will always be a shining star not only in the classroom, but on the track. She had a warm, wonderful smile and a giggle that let you know that she'd just pulled a cute prank. Always fun to be around, we never knew what she might try next, but we also knew that we could count on her to do her very best on the track for she was a gifted runner with great speed. Now, as we think of Shelly, we are saddened, but are thankful that we had the opportunity to have known her.

Shelley was a Southwestern High School classmate. Though I have not seen her since high school, I remember that vibrant smile and her kind heart. She was so much fun. I remember her making school fun especially when it wasn't. Though she will be dearly missed, God has a special place for her and has bigger plans for her than we can imagine. Her physical body has left this world but her soul and spirit remains in each of us blessed enough to have known her. My prayers and comforts go out to her family.
