Obituary of Shelley A. Trainello

Shelley A. Traniello, 45, of 21 Conewango Ave. Celoron, passed away unexpectedly Friday, March 1, 2013, in her home. A lifelong area resident she was born January 10, 1968 in Jamestown, NY a daughter of John M. Traniello and Carolyn Jones Fish. She was a 1986 graduate of Southwestern Central School and had previously been employed by the Holiday Valley Resort and Conference Center for several years. She was a member of the Herman Kent Post 777 American Legion, Celoron and the Celoron Moose Lodge. She also loved to golf and was especially fond of animals, especially her pet kitten. She will be remembered as a loving and caring person who had a beautiful smile that attracted people to her. She was very outgoing and friendly to everyone and had many friends. Surviving are her father and step-mother John M. and Donna Traniello of Sinclairville, her mother and step-father Carolyn and James Fish of Celoron, her two sisters Debbie M. (Steve) Wright of Lakewood, Tracy L. Traniello of Salamanca, NY, a step-sister Krista Mineweaser of Russell, PA, a step-brother Greg Alonge of SC, her two uncles Frank (Betty) Traniello of Jamestown, David (Liane) Traniello of FL, her aunt Sandra Scott of Jamestown and her two nephews Zachary T. Swan of Fairport, NY, Jacob A. "Jake" Swan of Lakewood. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Albert J. and Vera M. Traniello, her maternal grandparents Arthur E. and Marie Theresa Collins Jones and her uncle Bobby J. Traniello. A service celebrating Shelley's life will be held at a date and time to be announced by the family. Friends will be received from 5-7 p.m. Monday in the Lind Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Celoron Fire Department, 92 Dunham Ave. Celoron, NY 14720 or to a charity of one's choice.
