My thoughts and prayers go out to his children, family, and friends. As many have said, I have many fond memories of Tom from the Class of 1972. He always had a great story or joke, and kept us laughing! May you rest in peace.

So sorry to hear of Tom's passing. Glad I was able to see him at our reunion last summer. We always sat by each other in class because of our last name. He will be missed.

Tom and I grew up together on the southside of Jamestown in our early years. Good memories of Allen Park. We also graduated together 40yrs ago (seems odd to say that) and we reconnected last summer at the reunion. He never let on that he was not well. So glad I saw him at that time. My deepest sympathies to his children and the rest of his family. I know he will be greatly missed. God bless.

Friends from high school days, Tom and I recently reconnected at our 40th high school reunion in Jamestown. We enjoyed a pleasant and engaging conversation on Friday during a sunny afternoon cruise on Chautauqua Lake. We then talked and laughed and reminisced some more the next evening at the reunion party. Even though we were never really close friends, I always remembered and enjoyed Tom's thoughtful demeanor, his wry sense of humor, his quiet respect and introspection. He was a good man, and his lights were extinguished much too soon. He will be sorely missed. My sincere condolences to his family.

Tom, your great smile and wonderful personality will be missed by everyone over the years.....but most of all you will be missed by your 582 classmate of the CLASS of 1972 from Jamestown High School. We are so glad that you came home for our 40th class reunion last July one last time to share that great smile and wonderful personality with us and your family. The photos that were taken on the porch in Bemus will be cherished dearly by all. I know that you are safely in God's hands now and will dwell with Him forever....we will plan to all gather by the river and reminisce once more.

Tom was a good friend of my brother, Vince Consiglio. They went to JHS and were in Gamma Sig Fraternity together. I always remember Tom being at our house with my brother and their other friends. He was always so nice and friendly to have around. Tom and Vince can now talk about old times up in heaven, he passed away from cancer in 2009. My deepest sympathy and thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Tom and I went to Geneseo together and lived next door to each other. He was definitely a character who brought life to the dorm but was also a really good guy with a big heart who cared about his friends. I have many fond memories of Tom: driving out to the Star diner in Avon for a late night snack, him doing impressions of Telly Savallas as “Kojak” among others. He bought his Dodge Superbee back then which was I believe his first muscle car that he really babied It is sad to see him go. My sincere condolences to his family and friends. Tom was a real gem and will be sorely missed. - Joe

Tommy John was my first cousin. He and I have been pals for all of his 59 years. We talked on holidays and whenever we missed each other enough to call. Through blessed Facebook, we, as a family, have gotten together more often. We have all lived through this with Tom. I can't comprehend his loss yet, as I am in California and unable to attend any service. But I know and have dreamed that he is very happy now, young again, free of pain and with his parents and other relatives. I will hold you in my heart forever, Tommy John (TJ).

2 Timothy 4:7-8
New International Version (NIV)
7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 8 Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.

Tom was a good friend of my father, Jack. I remember hearing all kinds of stories about there adventures and who had the bigger nose. As a child we lived next door to his parents on West Virginia. He would come and visit when he was in town. I remember my brother and I thought he was the coolest guy cause he had got a new car and it was a "talking car" like the Knight Rider. At the time we had never seen anything like that before. Rest in Peace, you will be missed by many
