I had the pleasure of working with Rich, especially when I was working at OGH ICU. I would always call him "Rich&Famous". He was always pleasant and lighthearted, and spoke with great fondness of his family. What a lovely person. I'm so sorry for your loss. I will miss him. RIP Rich.

Richie was a wonderful man who gave so much to everyone. He was a loving and caring person who always had a smile for all. I will miss you Richard. I will miss your phone calls to Neal as you drove home from work, you always had a quick comment when no one answered, often making us laugh, usually more than once, it was always comical. My heart goes out to your family for the untimely loss, but as long as they keep their memories you will remain close. I will not forget my brother-in-law who could always make me smile. You'll remain where you've always been close to my heart.

I have so many memories of you my dear grandpa. I'll miss you everyday of my life but I'll also always remember all the times we had together. The times you'd call and we would be on the phone for hours talking. About your work, about food, and guns, and cars, and family. I will also remember the time I brought my best friend Mikayla with me. How we went on a hike out back behind your house into the forest. How we got the horses to come to us by having me do the horse whistle. And petting and feeding them. You catching it on video and laughing with us. Of you helping us down to the creek and getting us some cool rocks with images in them. Of showing us flowers and showing us some cool animals. A fox that we almost saw. Taking us to dinner at a fun and amazing restraint. Also get us matching hats to walk around in. Giving me your uniform when you were in the war and I was the one who could fit in it when you were 17. I will never forget all the things we did togeather. I will miss you Forever Grandpa. I LOVE YOU!!

I was a patient a month ago at OGH (I am also a employee) and Richard took very good care of me. You could tell he really enjoyed his job and loved to talk with people-he told me so many interesting stories-and helped make my hospital stay a little brighter-just knowing that he would be back-and could make you smile again. He will certainly be missed by all...

To Our Uncle Rich,
So many loving memories of our favorite Uncle. I will always remember his humor and wisdom. His dedication to family was so important to him and he always made a point to be at family functions. He was a shining light in our family and such a wonderful example of one who through very hard work came from the most difficult of beginnings to live a life of success not only professionally but in the man of exemplary character he became. He was the father and grandfather that every man should be. Love you Uncle Rich and you will forever be in our hearts.

I was so saddened by Dick's untimely passing. I just saw him a couple weeks ago at the Jamestown General Hospital reunion. We hugged and talked about all the things you talk about at a reunion. Jamestown General Hospital employees were like family and always glad to see each other.
Dick Robinson was a great employee and colleague, full of compassion and committment. He was always in the "Patient's corner" and never without a smile on his face. He will truely be missed by many.
Barb, please accept my heartfelt condolences.

Rich (Dick as I was first introduced to him back in 1990)was one of the last of a rare breed...a true gentleman. Rich worked with me perdiem at Tri-county Memorial Hospital in Gowanda back then, along with being my favorite home-care specialist. I still cherish a personalized engraved pen from Associated he gave me one Christmas! Lost touch for a few years and was so pleased to be able to work with him at OGH for 5 years. Truly a man I respected for his love of family and devotion to Barb and his children. The service to his country, his story-telling, his jokes will all be sadly missed. His departure from earth will be felt strongly by all those he touched so selflessly over the years! Keep watch over us Richard. XO

My memories of my father are filled wih tender love and fun. Sleepovers on his beloved boat that always broke down, hot cocoa, popcorn, and ice cream sundaes that Dairy Queen would have been proud to serve. My entire life I watched my father serve others with loving dedication. It did no matter if you had never met him , you had an immediate friend and a hero if you were in trouble. I love you dad. Thnnk you for being a man of honor, ompassion, and a deep abiding love that has always made me proud to be your daughter. My eternal love goes with you. Michele
