Dear Sue and Family,
I am so sorry to hear about Donnie. Our family has many memories of him and your family. We were always at your Mom's house, watching TV or just visiting with your Mom. She made all the children in the neighborhood feel welcome. Donnie would come over to our house too, always showing us all the money he had earned that day. My Mom and Dad would always take the time to chat with him too.
That was the good old days when neighbors looked out for each other. Sue, so glad you live across from me now as you are a GREAT NEIGHBOR. GOD BLESS YOU.

I remember Fergie when I was a child living on Hunt Rd. I would often pass him and we always had a short conversation. He was a happy gentle man.

I am very sad to hear the news of Donnie's passing. My grandmother lived around the corner from the Ferguson's on Hanford and cared very deeply for the entire family. I remember Donnie and Dickie being around my grand parents house frequently and how much of a pleasure it always was to see them. I know my dad, Karl Gustafson thought the world of them and Mrs. Ferguson. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. Donnie was a great guy and will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. God bless you.

I enjoyed working with Don, his brother and his mom several years ago. I was always amazed at his ability to put jigsaw puzzles together. Don was a kind and gentle man with a big heart. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.

I grew up with Donnie and also worked at Paul Swan's Kendall. Don would come over daily - both to our house and the gas station. He was so much fun and a joy to be with. He would sit on the side porch with my mother and father and discuss the events of the day. Donnie was a good man and we West Side neighbors will always miss him. He brightened our lives.

I will always remember the days that I worked at the old Lake County Dairy store on McDaniel Ave. You would come in every day to say hi and have a pepsi. You were a kind, goodhearted man. Heaven has gained another angel.
Miss you pal,
